As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers, Edwina offers professional social work supervision in her private practice in Samford & Red Hill, Queensland.  Edwina has a reflective approach to professional supervision, providing a space in which you can explore the issues that are important to you. She firmly believes that caring for self enables us to be present and compassionate to others, not just in our professional work, but in all aspects of our life.  Edwina is passionate about supporting people to make their work sustainable, enjoyable, and meaningful, helping people to resource and skill themselves as necessary in order to serve the people they work with. 


Edwina has been a qualified social worker for nearly ten years and is a registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).  She also has a Bachelor of Arts (Peace and Conflict Studies) with First Class Honours in International Relations.  She has worked in the community sector and private practice for 15 years.  Edwina specialises in trauma-informed practice and has worked in a range of service environments including homelessness services, refugee services, health settings, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services and women's services.
